To celebrate...
How about a freebie?
I think that my county might be one of the last counties to the Balanced Literacy party. I've been struggling with it all year. I have no idea why...this is just Four Blocks reinvented (kinda). I taught this way before...but...
The most trouble I had was figuring out how to work Literacy Stations in my classroom. I finally figured out how to make it work for me. I have my students work with the same partner each day for several weeks. This ends the confusion of "who am I working with today?" I also have the stations organized by day (I will share that in a later post). I group the students by ability (based on MAP testing data).
So, here you go...I've posted it in TpT as a word document so that you can edit the names easily.
