I feel totally appreciated.
I've just downloaded over 50 free items that are F.R.E.E. for today only as a sign of appreciation.
Also-so many bloggers are having sales at their stores that I've managed to break down and get several items that have been on my wishlist for awhile.
So....................
Thank you!
We had a teacher appreciation lunch on Friday. It was a "Our Teachers Rock" theme with music playing and everything. PTA provided lunch for us and we had parent volunteers monitor our classes at lunch so that we could have lunch away from the students. This is our once-a-year luxury and we take it seriously!
PTA also gave us a goodie bag filled with odds and ends including a CD of the music that they played during lunch. There were door prizes {but BOO, I didn't win}, too!
How does your school celebrate Teacher Appreciation? Is it one day, all week, or what?
Link up with 3-6 Free Resources' very first linky in the monthly:

Every month 3-6 Free Resources will be posing a new question for us to ponder.
This month, the question is all about how your school celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week
(May 7-May 11).
Head on over and link up!
Before I leave you, I wanted to show you a few pictures from the Spring Formal I spoke about in my May Currently. (Thanks again Farley for this great way to get to know other bloggers!!)
First, here's my beautiful daughter getting her courage from her dance partner:
Here they are posing for photos:
Her Great Uncle John got her that beautiful dress. Isn't he wonderful?
Here's one with the whole family. My husband and I are on the Social Board so we are chaperones for the evening....so we get dressed up, too:
My son popped in that picture, too.
NOW~ Here's what it looks like:
Yes, that's over 1000 dancers. It's pretty amazing. I'll post a video later this week. Can you spot me or my daughter? Yeah, me either.
It was one amazing night. Which is why I'm too exhausted today to do much more than download freebies.
And...I've got to go finish that....

Your daughter is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for reminding me about the jackpot...totally forgot! I am now with you on about 50 downloads!
ReplyDeleteTwins, Teaching and Tacos.
Lovely pictures! And I need to go blog hopping to grab the fifty downloads.
ReplyDeleteI want to participate in the Show Me but my school hasn't done anything! LOL. We received an email from our principal saying they're going to have a luncheon at the end of the year for us instead, because everyone's too busy now!
Buzzing with Ms. B
That is fabulous that your school lets you have a lunch away from your class! :)
