We (The Hubby --> Professional Photographer) are photographing a family member's wedding and thought we'd go a bit early to spend time with them prior to Saturday...So no BBQ, fireworks, etc...booooo! :(

  23. On the 4th we will be celebrating with family. It's now tradition to go to my cousin's house for a swim party. This is the first year we have a puppy at home, so we will have to be home in time to deal with possible anxiety due to the fireworks. So far it looks like we will have our hands full that night with her, the neighbors keep setting them off early and she completely becomes a spaz!

  101. I would love a quiet pencil sharpener as well! I just finished my first year of teaching and this would be a great little thing to add to my room. This year the pencil sharpener I had was awful and it was stressful for the kids and I to deal with everyday. This 4th of July I was planning on going out on the river but I did go to a friends party and then my boyfriend was really sick so I came home and hung out with my parents. I was exhausted so it worked out okay. Plus, there were TONS of fireworks in the neighborhood. :)

It was pretty low key, but lots of fun!
